Growth comparison

What a difference 2 years makes. It's hard to believe that
my tiny little baby boy has turned into an inquisitive toddler.
He is learning so much and amazes me daily.
I now have a backseat driver that yells "go momma go!" every single time we stop in traffic.
He tries to repeat everything I say and I mean everything!
I is officially time to sensor my language.
Such a great little helper at home.
There isn't a day that goes by that I don't look at him
and tell him how grateful I am to have such a wonderful little boy.
I love you Tyler.

Holiday and 2 year Pictures

REEEEEAAACH!!!!!
Holding his baby bear!
I've managed to get this little bear in at least one picture
every time we have them done.
In his infant pic, the bear was almost as big as he was.

2nd Birthday Pics

Tylers home made Elmo cake. His fav character is Elmo and he he loved it.
Everyone's mouth was bright red.
Two of only a few happy moments. He had a great time
having Thanksgiving dinner w/friends and family but he
was so tired and cranky by the time we were ready for cake.

His favorite part of the night was blowing on these
party favor things. whatever they're called.
Daddy, Tyler and Uncle Vincent.

A few random pics

Tyler inspecting our luggage before packing for vacation.
Daddy closed the cover and him and he thought it was the
funniest thing ever.

1st cheeseburger happy meal. He will only eat chicken
nuggets but I got a buger just to see what would happen.
He took 2 bits and was done.
Luckily I was smart enough to order some nuggetts too.
I think I even heard he dogs cry when I threw the
rest of the burger in the trash.   :o)   No table food for them!

Tyler is such a big help in the morning.
After I crate the dogs he gives each one a milkbone biscuit.
On this particular morning I let the dogs in the house
and when I walked in their room Tyler was standing in Levi's cage.
But of course by he time I got the camera he was coming out.

Daddy gave all the dogs a bath Saturday afternoon and Tyler
got to watch. So, Sunday morning he was sitting on the coutch
w/Harley and decided to give him a baby wipe touch up.
I guess daddy missed a spot.
And poor old Harley just layed there and loved all the attention.

20 wipes later I think we are done.

Another weekend trip to Montebello

Went to Montebello for another Fitzgerald Family Reunion.
Tyler and I decided to only go down for the day. Met daddy and family
there Sunday morning.
Tyler's bff Grant had his 2nd Birthday party on Saturday and we did not want to miss that.
Luckily it's only a 2 1/2 hr drive to Nelson Co.
He had a great time on the way. Tyler was looking at all the mountains and the tractor trailers, we even passed a few motorcycles along the way. All of which made him very happy.
Went across the Lake Anna bridge and he screamed "river" for 20 minutes.
Too cute!!
Posing on a rock outside of Unlce Carl's cabin.
He has learned to say cheese and actually look at the camera now.
As usual, there is no shorage of 4wheelers and dirtbikes
at the cabin so as soon as he saw this old 3wheeler he wanted to ride.
Daddy drove around for at least a half an hour.
Uncle Bennett was more than happy to show Tyler
all of the firetrucks and the ambulance at the fire department.
He absolutely loved it.

Tyler's 1st vacation to Carolina Beach, NC

He did't care much about the ocean, or "river" as he calls it.
But he sure loved playing in the sand.
This is an overhead shot from our balcony.

Touching a starfish at the aquarium.

Not to sure about this thing!
Have lots of pics but took most on a disposable camera.
Tyler loved the aquarium.
Especially the fish.
We were only there for 2 hrs and he fell asleep.
He had a great time there w/Grandma.

Summer Pictures taken 7/24/10. 20 months.

Summer pics. Went just before nap time so Tyler was a little sleepy but he managed to take a few cute pics.

July 4th

Of all the things we could have done today, I think the best decision was to go to the Flying Circus to see the airshow. Tyler loves to look up in the air and point at airplanes, helicopters and birds.
It was hot but still worth it. He had so much fun watching the show and kicking the airplane tires after the show.

Enjoying some nachos in the shade.

Tyler checking out the Baron's funny helmet.

Posing with his poster. Autographed by all of the pilots.
What a fun day.
We will definately go back before the end of the season.
Fun way to spend the afternoon. Next time we're packing a picnic.

We love our weekends

Went swimming last weekend at Uncle Vincents and Aunt Joy's house.
It was so hot and miserable that I forgot I had my camera so I only got couple
of pics before he fell asleep. It took him about an hour to get used to the water but it seemed like all he wanted to do was play w/everything else.

Check out the matching farmers tans.   :o)
Playing w/the rocks.
So cute in his little swim outfit.

King George Summerfest 2010
Fishing for duckies.
Good thing Uncle Vincent is an expert angler.
Then on to the bubbles!!!!
Yay, Tylers 2nd favorite thing to do.
After riding lawnmowers, golf carts, gators, atv's....etc.
Checking out the hot rods!
Moon bounce w/cousin Justin.

Time for some ink

I didn't think he would sit still long enough to get a face painting so
we decided on a tattoo!
He picked his favorite....the lion (close enough to a tiger).
It's cutey poos first tattoo.
We all had a great time regardless of the heat.
Wish our pal Grant could be out enjoying the weekend.
He's home sick w/step. Hope you feel better soon!!   :o)

Our day at the Richmond Zoo

What a fun day. Weather reports did not look good but we went to the zoo w/our fingers crossed.
We got lucky! The weather was great and it didn't rain unitl about 5 minutes before we got home.
What better way to spend my birthday weekend but w/my family!!

Tyler had a great time. His favorite animal is the tiger. He was so excited to see the tigers.
Before we left we stopped at the giftshop and he picked up all kinds of fun tiger stuff.

2 rides on the carousel

A pic for our pal Grant. His favorite is the monkey (close enough).
On the way home we stopped at Bass Pro for some shopping.
He wasn't a fan of the bear or the huge fish.
Kind of strange considering that we had a 45 gallon aquarium w/fish in it until 2 weeks
ago when we finally gave it away.

Tyler loves anything that he can ride on.
ATV, riding mower, gater......etc.
