Blizzard of 2009

What a snow storm! 10" so far and we're expecting another 10-12" before it's over.

Tyler got to go outside today and check out the snow.
We only stayed out for about 10 minutes.
Unfortunately we werer not ready for this. We need some gloves and a pair of boots.
Luckily socks make great mittens when your in pintch!!

Even Max came out to play.

Levi too!

After playing in the snow it was time for some arts and crafts.
Our little artist!

Santa

John's work, AI Va had a small Christmas gathering for the company kids.
Tyler got to see a Santa for the first time. He was a little unsure at first but after being there a while he started to warm up to him.
Hopefully by the time we get to see the next Santa he just might smile.

1st Birthday Bash

We had a party for Tylers 1st Birthday on November 28th.
Lots of friends and family came by to celebrate with us. Tyler got
lots of great gifts and he loves them all.

Our house has officially been taken over by baby toys.
And I don't mind it at all. Whatever makes my little angel happy!

A few photos of the festivities..............

Tyler helping me get ready for the party. He was in charge of balloons.

Tylers pal Grant made it. He was so cute in his Holiday outfit. So festive.

Grandma helping with the presents.
Thanks Grandma. You were a big help.

Sporting his new Air Jordans from Cousin Justin.
They have matching shoes.  :o)

My favorite

And I think this might just be his favorite one of all.
The boucing interactive horse is from Uncle Bennett.

And even more gifts!

What a year

I can't believe how fast the past year has gone by.
It's so amazing watching Tyler go from an infant to his pre-toddler stage.
Seems like only yesterday when he just layed in my arms looking around with a blank stare on his face, completely oblivious to everything going on around him.
Now he's a tiny little person with thoughts, feelings and emotions.
He has started to stand on his own, even took his first solo steps this past week.
He's learning to communicate the best he can for now.
When he is hungry he says "yum-yum" constantly until you feed him. It's the cutest thing ever.
He's growing up so fast.
It's been such an awesome year and I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. I can't wait to see what the future holds for us.

Happy 1st Birthday

1st Birthday is finally here!!!!

Opening one of his gifts.

Tyler got his own chair. It was supposed to be a Birthday
gift but I couldn't keep it from him. He's so curious and
always knows when something is going on, I just couldn't keep it
hidden from him.

Hey Daddy!!! What are you doing in there?
And yes, he was really in there.

New Table

We finally broke down and bought a kitchen table so we can actually sit and eat dinner together like normal people. When we first brought all the pieces in Tyler seemed to be a little freaked out by all the misc parts.
Once he realized it was ok, then he was ready to get work and help daddy assemble everything.

Here he is showing daddy how to open the table and take
the leaf out. He's so smart.

Making sure all the nuts and bolts are tight!

And my favorite one!

And his new favorite thing to do is feed his snacks
to Levi. And of course Levi is always an arms length
away.

Halloween

It rained pretty much all day so we decided to leave the
costume at home and wear the pumpkin suit.
We went to KG, Tyler had his first taste of pizza at Fernando's.
After that we all went to visit Grandma and Grandpa.

Tyler showing off his walking skills with Uncle Vincent. He's almost there!!
The new shoes are really helping a lot.

Saturday, October 31, 2009

Tyler's new favorite thing to do is to crawl in his basket of toys
and play.
The first time he did it he sat in there for almost 45 minutes.

Such a little ham.

Playing with his favorite ball.

We have mastered the sippy cup!!!!!

Here's little nosey!
Just had to see what was in between the couch and loveseat.
He somehowwedged himself between the two and couldn't get out.

Fall Fest at Minnieland

We went to the Fall Festival at Minnieland Friday night to enjoy the festivities.

Before the fun started we all went to Poncho's for dinner.

The boys got share some delicious mexican chicken fingers and fries. :o)

And we can't forget the appetizer....puffs!

Here's Tyler in parking lot posing in his costume.
One hand is giving a thumbs up and the other hand... well
we hope he's not doing that on purpose. Oh so cute.

Falmouth Fire Department was there with one of
their firetrucks.
(who knew the camera added 40lbs.)

The cutest two little creatures ever!!!
Tyler the precious prehistoric dinosaur and Grant the
little ferocious lion.

It was a long day and by the time we left to go home Tyler was
pooped.
He slept all the way home.
We all had a great time.
Thanks to Grant and his mommy and daddy for hanging out with us!
